CHILE EXPEDITION DETAILS
To Be Determined
Let's get you up to speed!
This document contains some basic information about your upcoming Meteorite Hunting Adventures expedition to Chile. Further details will be included in the expedition agreement, which we urge you to review carefully. Please call or email us if you have any questions.
COST
This expedition costs $3,495 per person. This can be paid either directly through this website or can be negotiated in person or via email or call. A $500 deposit is required to secure spots in our limited slots. The remaining balance must be paid in full one week before your expedition begins.
DATE AND AIRFARE
Official expedition date is UNKNOWN. Meteorite Hunting Adventures does not cover airfare.

LODGING
Your package fee includes a camping spot, tents are required.
MEALS
Participants are responsible for their own food and packing their own lunch during the day. Before the expedition formally begins, we will make a trip to a supermarket so each participant can purchase their own food for the entire trip. Continental breakfast may be available at the hotel.
TRANSPORTATION
Meteorite Hunting Adventures will provide vehicles for entering and exiting the strewnfield/hunting area; the initial trip to a supermarket; and transport to and from the hotel and from the airport. Meteorite Hunting Adventures cannot guarantee specific trips to restaurants for evening meals with our vehicles, so participants should be prepared to take taxis, rent their own vehicles for the trip, and/or make other personal accommodations for personal excursions. Vehicles in the strewnfield/hunting area are intended for transportation around the strewnfield/hunting area and are not specifically for hunting purposes.
SECURITY & SAFETY
The desert itself is relatively safe, as it is devoid of most animals and not near borders or known areas of conflict. The terrain is fairly safe.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL AND DIFFICULTY
The Chile expedition is a relatively easy hunt and will not require heavy equipment. However, participants should be prepared for long walks and we recommend that you condition yourself physically prior to the expedition so you can comfortably walk a few miles (our Arizona trainings are a great time to test your skills). If you are not able to comfortably walk that distance, we strongly recommend renting your own vehicle for transportation. Anyone of any experience level, new or veteran, can participate in this hunt.
